Cosmetic & Reconstructive Genital Surgery      for Children

Children are not small adults!  Children have genital conditions and concerns that differ from those seen in men and women.  Also, the experience and surgical skills needed  for children differ from adults.

Dr. Jeffrey Palmer, a Board-certified Urologist and Subspecialty-certified Pediatric Urologist, has the experience and surgical skills in the care of children of all ages.  He is an internationally-recognized cosmetic and reconstructive genital surgeon who has cared for men, women and children from all over the world.  He offers unique surgical skills, vast experience and innovative care that benefits men, women and children of all ages in ways not usually provided by plastic surgeons, general adult urologists or gynecologists who perform genital surgery, including:

1) Board Certified in Urology and Subspecialty Certified in Pediatric Urology.

2) Performed thousands of male and female genital surgeries.

3) Applies to adults the expertise, techniques and experience in minimization of genital scars, meticulous attention to detail and extensive knowledge of genital anatomy required for the technically demanding skills for genital surgery in infants and children.

4) Editor of several textbooks and journals, and the author of more than 100 articles and chapters, including a chapter entitlted "Management of Abnormalities of the External Genitalia in Boys" in 10th, 11th and 12th editions of Campbell-Walsh Urology.

5) Innovative evaluation and treatment, including Triple-P (P3) Technique™, 3-Point Repair™, and 2-Point Repair™.

6) Dedicated and focused on cosmetic and reconstruction of the genitalia preventing dilution of his expertise and focus on other unrelated structures and surgeries, such as as breast augmentation, lip enhancement and rhinoplasty.

7) Comprehensive genital and non-genital surgery. Dr. Palmer works in collaboration with plastic surgeons who perform non-genital surgery (such as a breast augmentation and abdominoplasty) so that they can be performed on the same day as the genital surgery.

8) Privacy and care by Dr. Palmer and not by a doctor-in-training or nurse practitioner.
