Dr. Jeffrey S. Palmer, an internationally renowned cosmetic and reconstructive urologist who is board-certified in Urology and subspecialty certified in Pediatric Urology, established Cosmetic Urology in Northeast Ohio with offices in the Cleveland, Ohio area and surrounding areas. Dr. Palmer founded Cosmetic Urology in response to the parents of his pediatric and adolescent patients who were seeking a surgeon to address their own male and female issues, but could not find a skilled and proficient surgeon to perform surgeries such as circumcision revision, hidden penis (buried penis) repair, labiaplasty or clitoral hood reduction (clitoroplasty). In response to the large number of men and women living in New York and other East Coast states traveling to Ohio seeking care with Dr. Palmer, Cosmetic Urology opened an office in Long Island, New York.
Cosmetic Urology addresses these individual concerns of the genitalia by specializing in comprehensive cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the genitalia of both men and women using a combination of unique skills and experience. Men and women come to Dr. Palmer due to his innovative evaluation and treatment, including Triple-P (P3) Technique™, 3-Point Repair™, and 2-Point Repair™ to repair congenital, acquired and cosmetic conditions of the female and male genitalia. Dr. Palmer has performed thousands of male and female genital surgeries.
Dr. Palmer is the editor of several textbooks and journals, and the author of more than 100 articles and book chapters. He contributed a chapter entitled "Management of Abnormalities of the External Genitalis in Boys" in Campbell-Walsh Urology (11th edition), which serves as a reference for urologists and other healthcare professionals throughout the world. This chapter is an update to Dr. Palmer's 10th edition chapter regarding the same topic.
Dr. Palmer has been named to the Best Doctors in America® and Cleveland Magazine Best Doctors® lists. He has been interviewed on several television and radio programs, including Oprah Radio™ for his expertise.
