Cosmetic Urology has several Centers of Excellence at several convenient Long Island, New York and Northeast Ohio office locations in the Cleveland, Ohio area. The Centers of Excellence provide a private and friendly setting to discuss one's specific concerns, desires and expectations. A customized treatment is then developed, presented and reviewed.
African Americans, Hispanics, Asians and other people of color have a higher tendency for prominent scar formation, such as keloids, after surgical procedures compared to individuals of other ethnicities and lighter skin pigmentation. At Cosmetic Urology, Dr. Jeffrey Palmer has a vast experience in treating people of color.
Dr. Palmer uses exceptional surgical techniques, meticulous attention to detail and extensive knowledge of genital anatomy to minimize scar formation. This experience, skills and knowledge have been beneficial in caring for people of color.
Older adults may have different anatomic considerations, physical limitations and emotional needs than a younger adult. These differences should be considered whether one is seeking surgery of the genitalia, whether it is a circumcision, circumcision for redundant penile skin, penile enhancement surgery, hidden penis (buried penis) repair, labiaplasty (labia minora reduction) for enlarged or asymmetric labia minora, or clitoral hood reduction (clitoroplasty) as an older adult.
At Cosmetic Urology, we provide individualized, customized and comprehensive care for older adults in a relaxed and welcoming environment. On the day of consultation, Dr. Palmer meets in a private setting to discuss one’s specific concerns, desires and expectations. He then presents and discusses the customized surgical options. A partner is invited to attend the consultation if one so desires.
